What are the components of the products ?
Five important components of malleable cast iron are Carbon , Slicion, Manganese, Sulfur , Phosphorus . wC=2.2-2.8%,wSi=1.2-1.8%, wMn=0.4-1.2%, wP=0.1%, wS=0.2%
Carbon is a graphitizing element, Silicon promotes graphitization, When the content is high, it reacts, Sulfur hindered graphitization, Manganese also hindered the graphitization,so manganese also is important . Phosphorus generally has little effect , but the content is too high, will reduce the toughness of pipe fittings.
