Malleable cast iron is produced from white cast iron, which is made from hot liquid iron with certain chemical components. The white cast iron needs to be treated by malleablizing, such as graphitizing or oxidation and decarbonization, then its metallographic structures or chemical components will be changed, so can become into malleable cast iron.

How about blast furnace smelting?
Because every element in molten iron have great influences function of machine, so it is very important to control the raw material , technical control, etc. We always require high quality scrap or thick steel bars , large coke that is high heat and low sulfur content , other material like Ferromanganese , Ferrosilicon, Bismuth iron all need meet the standard. By the way during producing , proportion of all material need meet the standard.
